Adoptable Pumping Stations
FME specialises in designing and custom-building pumping stations that meet the stringent requirements of County Councils and local water authorities. We work closely with water authorities and engineers throughout every phase of the project. Our commercial and industrial pumping stations are engineered to manage sewage and trade effluent for large-scale operations, including hotels, restaurants, factories, airports, and other sizable facilities. Additionally, we design pumping stations that adhere to adoption standards for all relevant water authorities.

NI Water
Our pumping stations are engineered to meet all the standards outlined in the NI Water Specifications (NI Water Article 161).

Uisce Éireann
Our pumping stations comply with Uisce Éireann’s Wastewater Code of Practice and are available in three categories:
- Type 1 – Small stations for 5 or fewer dwellings
- Type 2 – Mid-range stations for 6 to 20 dwellings
- Type 3 – Medium-sized stations for 20+ dwellings, with a power capacity of under 20kW

OXY-FLO by FME is a fully automated, smart-control dosing system designed to prevent septic conditions in pumping stations and wastewater infrastructure. By monitoring temperature, H₂S levels, and flow, it delivers precise chemical dosing to stop odours, corrosion, and compliance issues before they start.
The OXY-FLO smart dosing system features a user-friendly touchscreen interface, built-in alarm notifications, and historical data logging for precise, site-specific optimisation. It includes intelligent duty-standby dosing pumps, a PLC controller with HMI display, H₂S and temperature sensors, and a durable GRP weatherproof kiosk—available with optional chemical storage and integral bunds.
