Last week, FME staff joined forces with several local businesses from across the Newry, Mourne and Down area for a charity football tournament in support of PIPS Hope and Support. The event brought together teams from various industries, all united by a shared goal—to raise vital funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention services in the local community.
FME’s team showed great determination and teamwork throughout the tournament, making it all the way to the semi-finals. A huge well done to our players:
Jim Sheridan, Jamie McKay, Luke McCullough, Johnny McVeigh, Eoin Carragher, Neil Fleming, Josh Porter, and John Kelly—fantastic effort from the whole squad!
Special thanks and congratulations go to Playr-Fit Teamwear for organising such a well-run and enjoyable event. It was a brilliant day of sport, team spirit, and fundraising for an incredibly important cause.
Well done to everyone involved!
